This velocity stack was designed to increase air speed to the throttlebody as well as reduce volume in the air boot. The improvements to low end power are substantial in both stock and modified engines. Gaining up to 2hp below 80% throttle on pump fuel and up to 3hp on race fuel with the proper ECU mapping. The performance gains mimic the popular 450 air boot conversion but allow the consumer to retain the 250 air boot and costs a fraction of the price.

This velocity stack does require air fuel tuning. Each velocity stack will come with a Yamaha Power Tuner ECU tune guide for you to install on your own motorcycle. For even further performance increase we recommend adding a GET or Vortex ECU with our custom tune for this velocity stack.
